Getting Started with Glór: Your First Interactive Session in 60 Seconds
You've decided to make your next presentation interactive. Great choice. Here's how to go from zero to live polling in about 60 seconds — no credit card required.
Step 1: Create your account (10 seconds)
Head to glor.online and click Get Started. Sign up with your email — you'll be in your dashboard within moments. The free tier gives you everything you need to get started.
Step 2: Create an event (10 seconds)
Click New Event, give it a name (e.g. "Team All-Hands" or "Marketing Workshop"), and you're done. Glór generates a unique 6-character join code that your audience will use to participate.
Step 3: Add your first poll (20 seconds)
Inside your event, click Add Poll. You have several options:
Multiple Choice — classic poll with 2-6 options
Word Cloud — open-ended responses visualised as a word cloud
Open Text — free-form responses
Rating — numerical scale (1-5, 1-10, etc.)
Ranking — drag-and-drop preference ordering
Type your question, add your options, and save. You can prepare multiple polls before going live — they'll appear in the order you create them.
Step 4: Go live (5 seconds)
When you're ready, hit Start Event. Share the join code with your audience — they simply go to glor.online and enter the code. No downloads, no sign-ups, no friction.
Step 5: Engage (the fun part)
Open the Display View and project it on your screen. As your audience votes, results appear in real-time. You can:
Switch between polls at your own pace
Show or hide results until voting is complete
Enable Q&A for audience questions
Let the audience upvote each other's questions
After the session
All results are saved automatically. You can revisit them anytime from your dashboard — perfect for team reviews, post-mortems, or sharing insights with stakeholders who couldn't attend.
